Is public school pay salary or hourly? I know you get 14-21 days paid vacation but do you get paid for the weeks the school is closed for breaks?

Your salary is monthly, based on 22 classes a week. So if your salary is 2mill, and school is closed for a week, you still get 2mill.
Overtime is hourly. So if you are teaching 5 extra classes a week at 20K a pop (100K a week) and school is closed for a week, you lose out on that extra 100K.
