Am looking for someone who can play the violin or any other type of stringed instrument such as a cello to accompany a dj set with the view of being eventually incorporated into a live electronic jam band.

No prior electronic experience is necessary just an open mind and a willingness to try different things musically...

If your interested please send me an email at... [email protected]

Great! Let's have a jam in Yeosu!

Or maybe we could jam in Andong, Jeju, or Dokdo!

*Let me guess- another Seoul expat who just assumes everyone should know that all ads looking for people to play music are automatically in Seoul. There are actually several different cities in Korea and quite a few of them have musicians who like to get together and play. It's not just Seoul.

I think it's safe to say when someone posts looking for other like minded musicians and doesn't specify their location that, yes, they are in Seoul. No need to freak out every time Benicio.

I do feel your pain about the (near) complete lack of music scene outside of Seoul. Especially in any smaller city.

I don't know why it irks me so much, but it happens all the time here.

To all musicians looking for other musicians, there are other places outside of Seoul and some of those places have pretty good music scenes going. Believe it or not, we have a very real, thriving music scene in Busan.

I know some of the Seoul-centric crowd think it's the only place that exists in the whole country.

Looking for musicians between Uljin in Gyongsang-Buk-Do and Dong-Hae in Gangwon. If I find one I'll die laughing.

Your post is way bitchier than your avatar.

With that avatar, I expect hippie-friend sunshine posts.

So next time, take that into consideration.

Who is that, by the way?

This guy Freddy in Donghae plays a mean set of spoons!
He's pretty savvy on the jew's harp as well.

I'm giving away free money.
10 million Won to each who meets up with me next Monday night.

I'm not going to tell you where in Korea I will be.
You'll have to figure that out for yourselves.

Maybe you Seoul psychics will have your work cut out for you!

It's Mitch Mitchell from the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

Amazing drummer. Pick him over Keith Moon and Ginger Baker any day!

Get a grip Benicio. If someone was seriously interested I'm sure they might consider travelling to Seoul anyway. Stop crying.
