I was with Oink and had a few invites, which I gave out. Oink has been dead for a while now, but I had so much new music downloaded that I didnt mind.
However I am now after some good new music, and want good quality, preferably FLAC so I can convert it myself.
Wondering if anybody has an invite to throw my way? I am a good seeder.

why do you need invites? You cant find basically everything, tracker free on mininova or whatever, unless your interested in really underground stuff.
Whats the uk based tracker that requires an invite, uknova? Any invites going spare? |

Some believe private sites to be safer.. others disagree.
The speeds are good on public sites.. but private are faster.. |

The best private tracker I was on was Oink. It not only had tons of stuff, but had a requirement that the music was properly ripped, and people spent time testing stuff and booting people who didnt know what they were doing.
I have great headphones, and if the music is poorly ripped, it is often obvious. But if it is well ripped, the sound is amazing.
The other thing about private sites is that everybody is required to maintain a good ratio of upload to download. This means lots of people are seeding. I have had full flac albums come down in a couple of minutes.

I don't know what your taste in music is but they are very, very picky about the quality of the rips uploaded.

Bit of a different way to get invites - register over at empornium and then register for their forums. They have a forum where you can request invites for every private tracker out there.
So long as you can show you have a good ratio [i]somewhere[/i], then someone will give you an invite within the hour.
I have no invites for what.cd, but that is by far the best private tracker for music around (run by some of the folk from Oink). |

I dont suppose they kept the same database from Oink, did they?

They did originally, but have recently changed it over. The new what.cd is awesome though. They currently have the most torrents for ANY private tracker site. The rules are virtually the same too, so all the music is ripped to the highest standards.
It's basically Oink V.2. |

One of the best sites out there for just about anything your looking for. Very organized and speeds are fast!

Sorry, please don't ask me for invites to these sites. Most of these sites hold the member accountable for giving out invites. Means they will hold you responsible for anyone you invite that does not follow site rules.
btw.. anyone who knows how to use IRC should visit the channels to the sites above. Its the best way to get invited to a private torrent site.
