Hello all,

I need to find the phone number for immigration. I've heard of a number you can call to ask general questions in English. Does this number really exist or is it just a fairy tale?

i just searched the internet.. great tool

here is a list of korean immigration offices (in english) with directions and contact numbers..

i'm kind of betting that if you were to call incheon or seoul immigration office they would have an english speaker there.. either he/she could help you or he/she should have the english general inquiries number to give you.

Thanks for the info. For the record I did search the internet as well as the posts on this site. I really didn't find what I was looking for though. Even when I click on the link you provided I do not get the phone numbers you have mentioned. It just takes me to a Q and A forum.

PS. I'm pretty sure I read about a special number to deal with questions from english speaking foreigners. That is what I'm looking for specifically. If I'm mistaken and no such number exists than no prob, just let me know if you have any info. Thanks

it is there.. just the address doesn't change..

you need to hover your mouse over the 'about immigration' tab at the top and then, just below that and to the right.. click 'information cart'..

they are all there... including the number clg linked to... 'all other nationalities window' is what you are after..

depending what your enquiry is related to you might need to call the 'all other nationalities window' number under the '�� Visa Section'. it is different but i would say they will switch you if you need to be anyways..
