Today, I found out my house owner paid for my t.v. licence last year which was 120,000 won. My co-teacher told me he phoned my school and admin. told my co-teacher about it. I paid him 240,000 won for 2 years, this evening.

I normally pay my bills using a machine at the bank. I only recently realized (slow job I know) one specific bill was never accepted by that machine. I brought it into school for my co-teacher to have a look, she said it was in the name of somebody else and they pay through their bank account.

Anyway, it turns out the previous tenant has paid for my water from May last year until Feb 08. The bill states I'll probably be cut off at the end of May if it isn't paid. My bank told me today I have to pay this bill at a different bank.

I'll inform my co-teacher and take it from there.

Admin at school are trying to contact the previous tenant, so we can get my account set up.

Lastly, my house owner just gave me a receipt for my payment and using gestures explained the people who live the floor beneath me apparently aren't 'happy' I take a shower in the early morning, perhaps it disturbs their sleep.

I explained to him I get up early and shower in the morning. He understood me and kind of half-nodded.

I don't sing in the shower, just take my time in there, I value personal hygiene. The house owner wasn't dictating but mentioned it. He's given me a note to give to my co-teacher to translate, about my early morning showers.

If it disturbs them, I am not going to alter my washing habits. When I finally get round to paying the bills I can wash whenever I like. I don't remember the contract stating taking an early shower is considered a public nuisance Cool

Are you wanking in the shower? Perhaps that's the part of your morning ritual that they're not enjoying.
