Most of the big shopping centers (E-Mart, HomePlus) *should* have some good knives. If not, try the big dept stores (Lotte, Hyundae). They will have some quality knives for sure, most likely Henckels.
Expect to pay a lot, though. |

I bought a set of Henckels at Lotte or Shinsaegae, last year. I think you can also buy some of the higher end brands online (Auction, etc). |

If you can find them, buy Henckels. I remember they had a life time warranty if for any reason a knife or tool was damaged, they would replace it.
I had an 8" and a 10"(?) chefs knife and I wanted a fish knife, so I threw the 8" at the floor, bent the tip, took it in and paid the difference for the fish knife. They don't have that now....boo hoo.
Great knives though. |

I'm sure you could go to most of the department stores here and find Henckels or Global knives. I do know that emart does sell a couple of Henckels knives but they are most likely a lower line. |
