Just curious how much a flight to Tokyo would be usually, not at the last minute or anything.

I just found a roundtrip from Seoul to Tokyo for 540,000 for one of the May 3-day weekends and wondering if it's a good deal or not...

That`s a good deal. I flew from Seoul to Tokyo on two different occassions, and that is about status quo for the price.

It can be cheaper to Nagoya, Fukuoka or Osaka, but for TOKYO you are looking at the price you paid.

Tokyo is worth it though!

I was quoted 537,000 for one of the 3 day May weekends for Tokyo. I say it's a rip-off, because the flight leaves on a Saturday afternoon at 1, so you'd arrive around 4. By the time you get through immigration and take a 2 hour bus ride into Tokyo, you are looking at arriving at your hotel around 7 or 8PM. The return was for 9AM on Monday. You'd have to be up and at 'em at 4AM to get back to the airport for a 9AM flight. totally not worth it IMO. That's not even 2 days in a 3 day weekend. I'd rather just wait and go to Tokyo on a regular 2 day weekend.

That is on the very expensive scale as airfares hover in the 300 to 400 000 range but considering it is the long weekend I am sure they have jacked the price..

To be honest you might be lucky to get a ticket at all now....
