It's available, but it's called the iPAQ 212 (all iPAQ 21x's have the same technical specifications), and it's all in Korean.
You shouldn't get it (here) for two reasons: There is no English ROM for it (as far as I know). Also, reflashing (it's basically reinstalling the OS) might void the warranty. The second reason is price; I saw them at the Yongsan Electronics Market yesterday, and they cost at least W550,000, often more. It's the same on Korean auction sites.
Final word: If you want it in English, and don't like to waste money, buy it in the U.S.A. It costs $450 on HP's website, and $350 to $450 new on Ebay and Amazon.com. If you really need or want it while you're in Korea, buy it from an American or Canadian website and have it shipped to you.
I also recommend that you purchase an Invisible Shield for it; these are awesome. They're guaranteed for life. I have one on my X51v, and it just doesn't scratch. I'm extra-careful, but one time I took my keys and scratched them across it just to test it, and there wasn't a mark. |
