It's about HIV+ people being deported.
The court was said to rule on it last month, but I haven't been able to find out what the court ruled.
Anyone know?
I ended up finding the ruling in case anyone is curious...
The court ruled that there wasn't a compelling interest in deporting him because it would only deter others from getting HIV tests, which would ultimately cause problems/spread of HIV. That, and it's just a human rights violation.
Funny how they rule like this, but in case of a rape, if she's wearing tight jeans it's not rape. Granted, I don't know if it's the same court...
