Two lessons this week. Two days of doing review quizes next week, then a week in the Philippines. Doesn't get much tougher than that!

I have two more today, thought the second one is in 9th period. There are exams next week, but I am not sure when, or how many of my classes it will affect. Then a 10 day weekend. Embarassed

Coping? Just.

One of my two classes today is being taught by my co-teacher who asked if she could teach them because she needs to wrap up a few things with them before next week's midterm. This happens a couple times a year. I obliged her.

I just found out that the exams are not next week, but the week after the holiday. An easy return from, instead of an easy leadup to the holiday.

And of course the best way to lose these benefits, if they exist, is to brag about them on this forum.

So are you going to take the taxi from the airport to Angelis. I know someone who got herpies there. Be careful.

Me too. It's because of this mid-semester mini-vacation. It's new. It's optional. Many parents don't like it because they have to work but this makes them responsible for looking after their children during this period. Also, the children think they should get a vacation holiday somewhere and many poorer parents find this burdensome.

About 80% of the schools are taking this mid-semester break according to the Korea Times. My school isn't however, so I'll just have to get by on Childrens' Day, Bhudda's Birthday, and Teachers' Day vacation days until my school has another day off for school founder's day in a couple of weeks. Boo hoo. No fair. Very Happy Laughing Very Happy

PS. I'm guessing that the 80% of schools that are taking this mid-semester vacation will probably end their semester a few days later than the ones who aren't, but that is only a guess.
