just curious, obviously this only applies to the smokers here. Cigarettes are cheap and you can smoke basically everywhere, how many do you chuff your way through in an average day?

Too many. Probably about 20 (Marlboro Ultra Lights) per day. More if I'm out drinking. I get on well with patches though and often manage to go a few days without smoking if I'm wearing one. If I'm ever going to quit for good, then I'll definitely need to knock the beer on the head too, which seems highly unlikely given how much I enjoy socialising.

20-30 in a day. Either Malboro Lights or Dunhill Lights.

For me it's a 2 part answer ---am I drinking?

If I'm sober I can keep it to about 10 cigs a day or so. If I'm drunk the sky's the limit. I recall one legendary weekend blowing through a carton of 555's. That's like 3 packs a day.

Pack a day for sure. OK a pack and a half. Sometimes I can smoke almost a pack over morning coffee.

I had quit for three years (after smoking for 15 years) and started back up when I moved to Korea in July 2005. I averaged about a pack of Marlboro Reds a day (more on weekends). I quit (again) cold-turkey on July 27, 2007 and have not had one since. Hopefully done for good!!

Marlboro Ultra Lights.

They're light, but you'll probably find that you end up smoking twice as many.

Yeah. 13,000 for 7 patches at most chemists/pharmacists.

I'll try and find an image for you.

10-20 on a weekday, depending on how much free time I have at work and how stressed I am.

On the weekends when I'm drinking, usually about 30.
