Sponsorship costs for an E2 Visa....
The school I'm presently considering, does not handle costs for your Visa. Is this a relatively expensive process or is it simply a matter of shipping some documents off and paying the postage. I've looked for this information but all I could find was info on the diff types of visas... |

it costs Y6000 in japan (obviously japan) to process the forms.. that it..
that is the only cost involved if i take it myself.. can't really speak abut the postage issue but..
it is pretty slack that the school won't cover this |

They have to cover the costs to get the blue paper (I'm not sure if there actually is a cost here, they do have to take out insurance incase you do something wrong or break a law).
The actual visa is probably what they do not cover. If you are in Canada, the visa will run you $75.
If they send you to Japan, be sure they cover the cost of the flight and hotel if you have to stay overnight.
If you search a bit more, you will likely find a school that will cover the cost of the Visa, although it's not very big in terms of the rest of the money a school would generally pay to get you here.
