|
|
Hey, can I buy U.S. size 12 shoes ( Korea size 300) anywhere in Seoul?
I've been told that I can order them.
Are tennis shoes expensive here? I'm used to paying like 40 or 50 bucks for New Balance cross trainers. I might have my folks picks up a couple more pairs at Gart Sports or Sports Authoity and send em over with some other stuff.
Anybody got any leads or tips? |

they do in itaewon but they will cost you and the styles are limited. the nike store below outback has some and the new balance store had some. i paid 75k for some nikes. some of the stores that sell knockoffs may have your size cheaper
thing is if you have them shipped from the states it will cost you a min of $30 so a $50 pair there will run you $80 total |

I'm size 14, so I feel your pain. They may not even have your size in Itaewon. It "depends." |

With all this talk about how South Koreans are getting so much taller, why would it be hard to find a pair of size 12 shoes? Every guy in my family wears at least 12, I'm sure in a city of 5 million Korean guys there has to be some demand for them. Will I seriously have a problem finding size 13 shoes? |

Personally, I would take 4/5 pairs with you and ship anymore you need. I just came back after a 4 month holiday and I saw the same new adidas shoes for $98 in Canada, here for 159,000 won. Even dress shoes like Rockport, Geox, Ecco are 50 to 100% more. I have been lucky in a sale once a year when they say it's 50% off and that is still the regular price at home, but sizes are limited. |

PM Me if you find something please. I am hurting, literally.
I was in MyeongDong yesterday. ABC Mart sells some larger sizes, but still not big enough for me. I am thinking of going to Japan to find some shoes that fit.
It really annoys me that the places that do sell shoes larger than 12 charge an arm and a leg. |

I just went to Buyshoes.com and bought a pair of NB for 50 bucks.
Buy stuff online, and have your firends or family send you a care package a couple times each year. |

I got size 13 (310) in the Nike store near the HomePlus in Doksan dong. The salesman said they carry up to 320. You can also get 5 bucks off for paying in cash.
Or, go on Naver and search 'kun shimbal' typed in Hangul and there's a pretty decent selection to order online. |
