Anyone have info on this? It just turned up on the news and apparently happened in Ilsan. I just caught the end of the broadcast and can't seem to find anything on the internet about it. I think they said 8 teachers were arrested. A link or detailed info would be appreciated.

No, the marijuana tests won't come back. They've seen foreigners with pot hundreds of times and the marijuana test lasted 8 days. One more instance won't bring it back. Plus, these guys used it in Korea (STUPID MOVE, PEOPLE). Korea shouldn't be testing people for drug use in other countries before they come to Korea in the first place.

Well-known Language Institute Foreign Teachers Known to be Habitual Marijuana Users

A group of foreign habitual marijuana users working as teachers at a well-known language institute have been arrested by police. ("grabbed by the scruff of the neck")

Seoul Police Department's Foreign Affairs office announced on the 27th they are detaining a Mr M from Ghana (40, staying illegally) on suspicion of violating drug laws and charging without holding a Mr Lee Mo (31, hagwon teacher), the middle man supplier.

Police also charged Mr T (30, American), who received the marijuana he habitually smoked from Mr Lee, together with 6 more foreign teachers and well-known hagwon boss Mr Lee Mo (43), who employed foreigners as teachers even though they had no E2 conversational instructor visas.

According to police, from October last year to the 18th of this month middle man Mr Lee purchased 160 grams of marijuana (with a street value of 2.4 million Won) from a Mr M on 5 occasions, usually reselling it to the foreign teachers of his acquaintance, who are suspected of smoking it at their house in Ilsan, Kyongido.

Having discovered Mr Lee's drug dealer contact details at a bar in Ilsan frequented by foreigners, police reported they have been investigating the movement of marijuana in the Itaewon area, where many foreigners come and go. (not sure if this translation is correct because I can't figure out whose contact details they're talking about or who discovered them)

The foreigners exposed at this time, mainly working in well-known hagwons in Seoul or Ilsan, are being accused of smoking marijuana with Mr Lee ten times.

The police concerned with the case said "These people mostly smoked marijuana habitually in their home countries and here in Korea even made their own glass marijuana smoking pipes," and, "It's enough to drive one crazy with worry about the bad influence E2s could have on their students. There's a strong need to test for the presence of drugs when the E2 is issued."
