I've seen this locally and on the boards. teachers get pissed off and quit within a week of their payday and then post about getting paid.

Get paid, then quit....... da mn it

I know thats the sensible thing to do, but the bastards wind you up so much that you go nuclear and it is only after you think 'Damn, I should have waited another 10 days' Laughing

Smart schools pay on the fifteenth of the month so you lose a good half month at least if you decide to run. It's the sort of thing that stays on your mind.

most ESL teachers provide their work up front...

And smart teachers don't take jobs at a school that pays them any later than the last day of the pay period. I know one place that wanted to pay an entire month after the pay period ended.

Get your ass out to the itaewon RMT with your 1800 won Tuesday night -sure the chicken wings are below average, but they are cheaper tuesdays-you can get 3 while watching the Flyers game
