Thompson Rivers University and the University of Lethbridge
(also did grad work at the University of Windsor and research at the University of Winnipeg)
With new Korean employment laws, pretty soon the question around here will be: "DID YOU GO to university?" |

mine is in top 10. btw these are US rankings, not global rankings. The top 10 would probably hold globally but I have my doubts once you go lower (I would think places like Oxford, London School of Economics , the top 2 French unis, etc would get in there somewhere. My Kotex handler and the VP are awfully impressed with this. I think it's unmerited to some extent, see comment below) , but I'm not going to complain.
and yes, they do. (despite frankly, this having nothing to do with whether you'd make a good teacher, esl or otherwise)
but why do they place such attention and importance on who gets into which university in Korea?
if you're a decent looking blonde from Harvard, for e.g. I think you could almost pick any job you'd want |

I got my undergrad at UNC-Chapel Hill; which consistently is ranked as one of the top public universities in the states. My post graduate degree is from East Carolina University. |
