|
|
Hi All
Tomorrow I am meeting with a builder/contractor who is going to be remodeling the small school house for me to move into.
I am definately getting insect screens on windows and doors. Im getting a new bathroom (being an old 'traditional' korean house - it currently only has a shower head over a large plastic bucket!)
I am going to ask for some extra bench space - and of course an air con. Perhaps some built in bookshelves.
Some of you have been in Korea a long time, many have lived in several different houses and apartments. Given the choice to add something that you have perhaps seen, or wish you had - such as more storage or cupboards ... what would you ask for?
I'd love to hear some ideas!
Thanks.

Counter space for food prep, a place to hang coats and store shoes by the front door. A good bathroom vent fan to blow out the steam from the shower otherwise you have mold/mildew problems.

None of the apts./villas I have lived in have had a back door. Man, I miss that (especially in the ground floor places!). If I were to move into a 'house' a back door would be top of my list. |
