Almost finished my E2 and packing bags to travel. Will apply for jobs while traveling. What must I bring / have to get visa while away?
** transcripts, original diploma (hopefully no), crc (within 6 months), medical exam???
All?....any more?....interview?
Thanks |

You are applying for a new E2 rather than extending a current one so you will need :
Sealed Transcripts
Original Diploma (or suitably certified/notorized copy of it)
CRC within 6 months.
Photos etc. Everything you needed the first time plus the CRC.
You don't need the Health Exam but you will need to fill out the Self Check Medical Form. The actual health exam will be done after you arrive and before you apply for your ARC at one of the acceptable places ... It must be submitted as part of applying for the ARC not the visa.
Because it is not your first E2, assuming that you have no black marks on your immigration record you won't need to go back to your home country to have an interview at the local consulate/embassy ... But that is the only thing that you won't have to do because it is not your first E2.
It is easier to apply for an extension to an existing visa than it is to apply for a new E2 visa. |

Thanks icicle.
What's the process these days of arriving in Korea on tourist visa and then getting E2 ????
Would prefer not to carry all necessary documents with me. Thinking maybe easier to find a potential job while travelling and then return to Korea to finalize paperwork.
Can I still go to Osaka or Fukuoka and settle things there? |
