I hope the thousands of police who usually do nothing at their desks will actually have to earn their salaries this week, collecting as much video and photographic evidence as possible and tracking people down. Then, I hope that anyone throwing a punch or throwing objects gets (a) immediately detained, (b) immediately suspended from university, and (c) promptly tried and deported. Video of a rows of these little thugs all handcuffed together and getting marched onto a plane would be the best response possible to this outrageous Chinese nationalism.

I can tell you that the next time I read a story about Chinese students bening banned from PC-bangs I'm going to have a lot less sympathy.

Why? Why should someone have to suffer an injustice for something he very well may not have been involved in? Or are you in favor of racism?

I seriously don't think you're in favor of racism but that's really the only way I can parse that post of yours. Show me where I'm parsing it wrong.

As much as I'd like to see those violent a-holes get the boot, it probably ain't gonna happen (maybe a couple, at most).

China is Korea's largest trading partner. Especially in the current economic climate, I don't think it's likely that Korea would risk a backlash. This will just melt away once more FTs get busted with weed.
