Yes, gaming is huge. People from 5 to 50 play games like Starcraft, Warcraft, Kart Rider, Maplestory, Sudden Attack, etc. You'll find a few internet cafes on every corner where you can play games and use the internet for between 50 cents and $1. I've been to villages of 2,000 in Korea that are more wired than large in the US.

There are two Starcraft TV channels and amazing amount of people who both play, and watch. There is a huge fanbase here, maybe equivalent in size to sports fans of a particular sport back home.

I started playing SC when I first arrived here and I'm gradually improving.

There are tournaments, official champions, trophies, and TV channels. It is in all aspects (except physical) a sport.

I guess I meant "you" as a dummy pronoun. One can play games or use the internet at these places, I mean.

I'd love to play Kart Rider. Sometimes I watch it on TV. I was awesome at Mario Kart, and no Ghost House could handle me as Koopa Troopa.

What about City of Heroes?

I got sick of all the nonsense that goes with WoW and gave it up.

I've run across one korean on my server.

Dude. You're gonna be great in Korea. Put in a full day at work,
Hang out hitting on K-gals (or guys, your preference,) then spend the rest of the night online gaming!!
At home or at the ubiquitous PC bang.
Just forgo sleep. Sleep is overrated.

Didn't want to start a thread and wanted to bury this where gamers might see.

Help a brother out, and help me indirectly in a recruitment competition!
Just click: ThePred's recruiting.
I'm in his crew. Not as mole. My picture is even there. If you can find it, I'll say something nice to or about KamiKazeeKNazi Enrico Palazoo.

The game itself is kind of addicting in a long term way. Not like you'll lose track of time, days, or weeks.
