hi all. seeing as i have a long weekend, a few buddies and i were looking at going to oseak ( seoraksan ).
i live in changwon so i am looking into trians from busan to either sokcho or yang yang ( then catching a city bus ). the thing is, i can't seem to find any transportation apart from a seven hour bus ride that takes a massive chunck out of my day.
anyone got any ideas?
also, if anyone has been, is it as nice as it looks?

I went up there last year, it was a mission by bus

There is no train to there...the only way is by:
1. Plane(there is a couple flights a week from Busan to yangyang on korean Air) - that is how i got up there. they fly every Monday, wednesday, friday and Sunday.

2. Bus-that is how i got back....there are a couple of different transfer cities from changwon to Sokcho. these being, Pohang, Wonju, daegu or Busan.

If you can get a ticket on the plane i would highly recommend it. More expensive but much better....
