I don't know Seoul at all. If I get off a bus at the express bus station (Kangnam?) how do I get to the YMCA building?
cheers |

Your closest subway stop is Jonggak on the dark blue line. Go all the way up to Jongro-3-ga on the orange line and then transfer for 1 more station on the dark blue line.
You can find the subway map here. Choose 'Cyber Station' and then 'Subway Map'.
I'm not sure which exit is best for the YMCA, but check one of the area maps in the subway station, it should tell you where to go. |

Yes it does. I've been there many times. Easy to find. Alot of other travel agencies in that same building including Tops Travel which is pretty good.
But HolyJoe pretty much described it spot on. The only other thing I can add is that its on the 'north' side of the street.. if that helps.. but 'YMCA' is on all the subway exit maps.. |

I hope your experience is better with them than mine.
In Auckland they were great... here they suck the fat one.
Just a caution. |

Yeah I've found Seoul STA to be pretty useless.
The woman who served me kept gumbling away in Korean with a pouty look on her face when I'd ask her questions. Go down the hall to Top Travel (same floor, same building) - they're 100 times better. |

Maybe I got a different person but I found the woman working at STA travel in Korea to be very friendly and helpful.

They are located in the YMCA building just outside Jonggak subway station. I have forgotten which exit you take but if you ring them up they will tell you |
