All these threads about earning potential through maximising your OT got me thinking about just how big some of your schools are.
At both my MS and HS there are only 180 students in each meaning there's limited potential for OT.
So, how many students at your PS? |

730 and 720, I'm far away from Seoul, in one of the tiny cities. Although, I used to work in a school with barely 200 students. |

I work at two middle schools in the middle of nowhere. They are less than ten minutes apart and each has about 400 students. I don't know where they all come from. |

I would say the vast majority come from Korea.

Two middle schools:
Main school - 1080 (all boys); 20 classes/week (all the grade 1 & 2s).
'Second' school - 55 (mixed boys & girls); 3 classes/week (one class for each grade).
At my suggestion, I teach one 'overtime' class - within regular hours - at my main school (so that I can see all my classes once a week). |

Our school used to be considered a small school for the area with around 1100 students. However this year we have about 1300.
Our school has consistently had the highest test scores and the highest number of students going to science high schools and foreign language high schools (of the schools in the area.)
Because of this there was an incredible amount of parents' trying to register their students for grade 1 middle school. We have 13 grade 1 homerooms and each one is maxed out. The other middle school, 2 minutes down the street, only has 6 grade 1 homerooms. I'm jealous of them. |

1400 kids and lots of opportunity for overtime. Unfortunately, this year, it would be overtime that is paid with "kindness" as opposed to the more desirable "currency". This schools particular brand of kindness is the type that allows me to sit at my desk all summer and winter, alone and bored. If only I knew the Korean for "suck my balls!"

Elementary grades 3-6 is almost 900 add in Pre-K-2 and I think the total enrollment is about 1100-1200. I teach 3rd-6th, 23 classes a week regular schedule. 5 classes for 3rd-5th and 4 classes 2x a week of 6th. |

Pretty similar:
Main middle school: 110 students (8 classes)
Second middle school: 80 students (8 classes)
Third school elementary: 90 students (4 classes) |
