I would like to devote a thread to the philanthropist of Dave's ESL Cafe. His name is of course, the one and only Ttompatz.

He has posted over 6000 times! I'd estimate that 95% of those posts were specifically to help the likes you and me. He seems to have the answers to almost all questions.

In my case, he correctly gave me information about re-entry visas for F2 visa holders after I had been given the wrong info by an immigration officer (I didn't trust the info - hence the call for Ttompatz). He has helped hundreds of other posters too.

Thank you Ttompatz for giving up so much of your time to help us all. It does not go unnoticed and is truly appreciated.

Ttompatz is amazing.

There was this post that was called "Oreovictim." When I read it there was a message that said, "Oreovictim, duck! Now!" As soon as I did, a dagger flew past me and stuck into the wall. If it weren't for Ttompatz, I would be dead now.

I think he's marvelously helpful, and I am only one of many to whom he's promptly and accurately responded.

He is definitely the most helpful poster, and is more knowledgeable than most.

He's helped me with advice.
Seeing as we're saying thanks....I also owe thanks to The Beaver, The Adventurer and a few others...cheers all.

I hope I can spread the wealth and share information as I find it.
