A recruiter from Planet People told me that I could fly to SK..get the paperwork from my school and do a visa run since I already had an E-2 visa as well as a winter camp C-4 visa.
Does anyone have any knowledge or know what number I can call at Immi to verify this ...The school wants my docs..not originals..except for verified diploma and crim with apostille. then will get the visa number for me..pay my airfare to SK, and Japan.
Has anyone done this before ....returning from the states and doing a run with a prior E-2?

The new rules do state that the consular interview will be waived IF:
1) you have had a prior E2
2) You have NOT been charged or fined for an immigration violation in Korea.
