Most of the time = yes.

Occasionally I think my boss is an idiot.... but that happens everywhere and is not unique to Korea or to teaching.

I'll say yes. It's better than doing nothing.

I'd say I like my job (quite a bit) a good....85-90% of the time. I work at a good school with nice kids, have a fantastic coteacher, nice coworkers, kind vice-principal and a new asshole principal I almost never interact with. This year my advanced kids/after-school group is AWESOME and I think the teacher who's replacing me will have a really, really good year.

Most of the time, yes. There are some irritating things sometimes, like a stupid schedule, but most of the time the job is OK. I think what is most annoying is that this could be a great job if the powers that be had more of a clue. The students here at this school can be awesome to work with. Last term I had some students who weren't very good to work with and I was unhappy, but the new group is more typical and I'm delighted with them.

Something kind of nice happened yesterday during break. One of the bosses came up to me and told me that one of my previous bosses at a related school had just called and asked if he thought I wanted to come back and work for them again. That was nice to hear about.

Infinitely better than my first two years at a hagwon. Better pay, more vacation, more respect and appreciation from co-workers and students, finish by 4:30, and more. The only downside is my 30 minute commute.

So far, better than last year. Nicer principal, done at 4:30, 20 min. walk to school, and I have better control of the classes.
