Since this question comes up often enough with teachers I work with, I was hoping somebody had some advice. I know that the legal status of tattooing is a bit foggy here, but I also know that there are shops here and there. I saw one when walking in Edae the other day, but it's hard to know if a place is hygienic and good at what they do.
Anyone with experience, I'd appreciate your advice.

I can attest to the quality of Vincent, at Gangnam Station. As I understand it, he is the only artist licensed by the government, as he is also a medical doctor (plastic surgeon). His space is more like a hospital clinic than a standard tattoo studio, but his hand is steady and his work is top-notch. He has an artist working for him to create the designs, then Vincent does the actual tattooing. He is expensive compared to work I've had done in Canada and Japan. His website is http://vincent.co.kr/home.php.
Send me a pm if you have any specific questions. |

Hey! I just sent the PM to you guys... sorry about the line near the end about seeing the shop that won't make sense to you, I copied and pasted it! Oops!
If you have any other questions, fire away. I got a moderate sized piece done by him (sat for 3 hours). |
