Seriously, what are the odds of this happening? Share your stories or findings of similarly unique outrageous happenings.

I wanted to put the picture here, but do not know how to do it.

We don't know when our time is up. You could be walking down the street to get a slurpee and boom....a helicopter falls on your head. Or you could be an avid runner and put too much Bengay or your legs and boom...your dead.

Reminds me of the song...

Quote:

747 fell out of heaven
Crashed through the roof of a 7-11
You're working on a slurpee
Things get hazy
Reach for a twinkie now you're pushing up daisies

How do you know they were good people? What if they were all jackasses?

A helicopter crashed down the street from me when I was 9. It made the BCTV news. They didn't mention the screams I heard nor did they mention those in the crash lost their legs and had burns to most parts of their body, but were living when left for the hospital. In fact, the news report was so sterile that it almost didn't seem like it was about the same thing. I had nightmares for weeks.

As for the attitude: good and bad things happen to all kinds of people and it's real annoying to hear people say such expressions.

I find it annoying listening to people dump their drama, traumatic memories, and psychoses on other people, simply because they have never sought psychiatric care for their poor troubled consciences. Boo hoo. Get some help. It's never too late. Maybe they can put Humpty together again.

I spent 6 years in the US Army, and helicopters crash a lot more than anyone would imagine. In my time at Fort Campbell someone died from a helicopter related incident once a month at least.
