How do you get internet in a Pc Bang when your laptop can't get on the internet? Do I just unhook the internet cable and plug it into my laptop? Will they let me do that? I mean the wifi won't work ( I can't get a signal and surf the net from my laptop)

I've unplugged the ethernet from the back of a PC bang computer and plugged it into my laptop.

If there is a wireless router/access point then yes, you can have wireless over your laptop in a pc bang. However, no one can tell you if there is one definitely.

Do bedrooms have beds? Do kitchens have toasters? Yes, there are some that do and some that don't. You are gonna have to go and find out for yourselves.

I will say, that it is HIGHLY unlikely PC Bang's make their money off of you using their computers to access the internet. Having free wifi access kind of undermines the business.

If you are talking about paid wifi access, then subscribe to Nespot. Nespot has wifi hotspots all over the place. I've even seen Nespot at Buddhist Temples.

Use the computers they provide.

Many retailers can speak some English.

Please tell me you aren't a teacher.

Someone is being unnecessarily harsh here.

This question is from another thread where a poster mentions taking a laptop to a PC bang and downloading movies/music from there. She wanted to know what to do if the PC bang didn't have wireless connections. I don't think that's a completely unreasonable question.

Well, I answered the questions as they were written.

As for the last line, well, its true that the vast majority of us are professional teachers here and as such, should be able to put together a simple question.

I was no more harsh that those sentences were on the English language. Laughing

Just do your downloading in the pc room
In one hour you can download one movie or several simultanously
I do it all the time because they have the best internet speed

This is pretty much double posting Stacy. Rolling Eyes

Now, how do you get internet in a PC room? Why, oh why are signatures disabled?

Not hard to figure out what she wants to do. Take laptop to PC bang, connect to internet, download anonymously, leave.

You and Stacy an item? Wink

My laptop can't connect to the internet for some reason. Do you think if I plug the cable from a PC in the PC Bang into my laptop it will work?

Anyhow, you and I are actually talking about two different things; while you are worried about understanding Stacy, I am having a laugh at her wacky posts. Sure I can understand her, just like I can understand a grade 2 student when they say "Teacher, I am bathroom", but my understanding doesn't make the kid less wrong or what they say less funny. I just expect more from the teacher than "Which internet do you use?".

You're free to assume the OP is an idiot.

However, another way to look at the question would be "My laptop can't connect to the internet. Do you think I'd be allowed to disconnect the network cable from one of their computers and connect it to my laptop, or, might the staff wonder what the hell I'm doing mucking about behind their computers and chase me out?"

Wow seems you lovers need to take your quarrel to PMs.

To the OP: the reason unplugging a wire and putting it into your notebook might not work is each computer in the PC room is assigned a specific IP.

It sounds like you don't know anything about computers, so I don't want to waste time explaining how you would check that out in a windows machine. Perhaps one of our quarreling posters can help you out.
