It seems like every week there is a new update. Whether it be iTunes/quicktine or Safari. It asks you for confirmation and it always asks you to restart the computer.
Why can't it just silently update the apple software. why must it always insist on rebooting my computer after an update? |

Agreed... I downloaded the free Safari for Windows just to give it a whirl and even after uninstalling Safari I get those annoying Apple updates. If anyone knows to stop them, please let me (us) know. |

Just be sure you don't download I-tunes with that. Yuck. I-tunes makes for computer hell.
I believe you can uninstall apple updater. I stopped using Safari because it was so sloooow to load and run on my computer. It was fast the first day or so, but now it's slower than Firefox or IE. I hardly use it now. The fonts were pretty, but compatibility sucks. |
