I mailed three large boxes to South Africa back in February. I was broke so I used the cheapest possible option through the Korean post office. It's now May and my brother in Capetown still hasn't received the boxes. My first question is should I be concerned? My second question is how long does it take for large boxes to travel through the post office at the cheapest rate, to South Africa. Does anyone know? Thank you. |

I'm assuming you sent the boxes by surface mail. I haven't sent anything to SA yet from Korea, but I have heard that parcels can take up to 3 months to get to SA via international surface mail. This has been my experience with receiving parcels in SA from the UK.
Did you register the parcels? If you did you should be able to track where they are. I've had parcels get stuck at customs before, and these had to be collected from their offices. |
