Dumb question perhaps, but do I open the envelope and just bring the paper to the embassy to get the affidavit? I'd like to open it here at home to make sure there's nothing on it that shouldn't be there, but don't want to run all the way up to the Embassy if they're gonna not accept an opened CRC envelope. |

It makes absolutely no difference whether or not you open the CRC. Read the sticky again. Slowly. |

When you do the affidavit, it needs to be attached (stapled) to the front of the CRC anyway. So... open that bad boy up.
