|
|
does anyone know how much a korean teacher makes for an extra hour of teaching?
Quote: |
Employee shall be entitled to a supplementary class instruction pay at the rate applicable to Korean teachers for the supplementary class instruction hours.
But if there is no standard payment for the supplementary class instruction hours, Employer shall pay Employee 25,000 Korean Won per hour.
|
or is 25,000W better? |

If it's just supervising after school, it can be as little as 6,000 per hour! |

I believe this goes for camps as well.
This is what I've seen. I guess they just do these programs for the love of their particular craft. |

Yes, it's 6000 won per hour BUT they get promotion points as well. We as temp teachers are not eligible for these points. So 6000 won per hour for US is a ripoff. |

They do it because it's their career and they can get promoted if the boss likes them. As for us, on yearly contracts, we need monetary compensation in lieu of possible promotion. |
