This may sound like a case of my golden shoes being too tight, but I could use some advice...
I have a new group of extremely high level (adult) students. Some of them are actually fluent, most are fairly close. I've not taught ESL to a group with this sort of ability before, and I'm a bit overwhelmed. My planning anticipated a lower level, and I want to keep things interesting for them. Can anyone suggest any activities that work with very able adult learners? |

I can recommend if you have a screen, lots of the presentations at EFL Classroom -- just hit the Practice page. Right click and save anything incase the internet is down. Also hundreds of screened videos for classroom use and check out my Lessons in a Can for lots and lots of stuff.....all suitable for multilevels.
The nice thing too is that students can repeat at their leisure. I'd recommend presentations also. See our Public speaking folder for lots of stuff and the video player.....
Cheers,
DD
