Does anyone know if the consulate interview is still part of the new regulations for an E2? For some reason I thought that was dropped back with the CRC apostile and drug test. |

Unless you have already had an E2 visa (with no problems with immigration) you still need a Consulate interview. The drug test has not been dropped (just the inclusion of cannibas test in the drug test was stopped). It forms part of the medical test that you need to have to get the ARC within 90 days of your arrival. |

The CRC apostille was not dropped. Immi implemented an additional method of authentication for people who are already in Korea. |

Right, the Korean consulate here in Chengdu has also said they'll accept a certification from the U.S. consulate here as well. |
