It sometimes takes time for things to register in my mind.

Should I look for another school to transfer to, one which offers a few more benefits than the current concentration camp?!!

More importantly, I wonder if my school would give me a necessary letter of recommendation to do so. Now that I have asked to renew and had it 'confirmed' by the Principal, I doubt they would provide one.

Alternatively, I could wait for the contract to end, and start from scratch. Even if you transfer I think you have to get all of the documents again, but I'm not sure.

I looked at my ARC and visa, and this time around the dates they expire on are the same as the contract's expiry date. My initial visa expired a few days after the first contract ended.

Anyway, please ignore the original post on this thread.

I want to know for my next job if I changed schools how do I avoid the visa run, due to the visa expiring on the same day as the contract.

Would I transfer to another school before this contract ends?

I must transfer without needing a new visa, because it would take my wife possibly ages to re-enter Korea, as she is an Iraqi citizen.

Thanks.

Wait until next December and ask again. It is a long time away and the rules may change again once or thrice before then.
