So they just told me I have to teach a class for the teachers at my public school tomorrow afternoon. I would've liked a little more time to prepare. They are all different levels, about 12 of them, so it'll be hard to find a focus. Please give me some suggestions... thanks...

Tell them you need to test their English level and give them the GRE exam.

im in the same boat, dont have a clue how good their english is, so iv made it an easy lesson, stuff them, if some are good, and some are bad, those who are bad will not understand a work of it.

they sent me a script and said to change it, introductions, im xxxx im xxx years old etc.

Iv cut it in half, they cant possibly learn months, numbers, country names, favurate foods, and hobbies in 1 lesson.

its short and simple, though ill let you know how it goes, could be a disaster....

am i sane?

to be honest, for your first class just do something that requires no prep. You will only get frustrated if they burn through it (unlikely), if they find it too difficult (likely), or if they find it easy but prefer to just listen to English and speak in Korean (most likely).

I usually do introductions for a first teachers class. I introduce myself and the lesson. Explain that, today I have no lesson, as nobody told me what level they are at, or what you they expect from me (free talking, structured conversation, textbook listen and repeat, etc).

Have them all introduce themselves (name, age, what subject they teach, habbies, family and WHY they want english classes). Have every other student ask them 1 question (assuming the class is small).

Once they have all introduced themselves (a speech they can plan), and answered questions (unplanned responses), spend 10 minutes asking them what THEY want from the classes. Offer them a few options. I usually go with:

1. All buy a textbook and work through it. (Boring but some teachers like it)

2. A structed conversation every week, with some background reading emailed out a few days before.

3. Unstructured free talk sessions.

Let THEM decide what they want! They will get bored, as PS teachers always do. If they can, they will put their boredom on you in some way (it is too difficult, too easy, boring, not what they wanted). By allowing them to tell you what they want, you force them to find another excuse.
