I went to Yongsan today to pick up some new TV shows and other movies etc. for cheap....and the booths were only selling the old crap, plus they had no big binders to flip through!

Anyway, I asked one guy who barely spoke any English and he conveyed to me that the police cracked down on the illegal pirating about two weeks ago. Anyone know more about it? Has this sort of thing happened before, or do you think the days of 4 for 10,000won DVDs are really over?

Yeah, crack downs are followed by compliance and then it's back to the same old thing once the politicians find something else making them look bad.

How would you know, you're in Canada.

If you aren't going to do something about it, stop talking about it.
