|
|
Hello all.
I'm looking at a GEPIK contract for a school in a rural area in Gyonggi-do (Siheung), but there is no mention of providing a rural allowence? Have those been taken out?
For the rural areas, I heard that more vacation was supposed to given. Of course, I could be wrong.
Are there different versions of the GEPIK contract floating around?

Both are covered in Article 11 (Other Benefits)
2. Employee who is working in a designated rural area shall be entitled to a paid allowance of 100,000 Korean won every month and additional 5 days' paid leave during the contract term.
I have the 2007 contract and heard there's a 2008-2009 floating around somewhere. I haven't seen it yet. |
