Can anyone tell me which airlines go to Jeju Island, and are there any ferries? |

Korean Air and Asiana both fly to Jejudo... I think there is a new Jeju Air.. not sure though.
There are ferries, I think they leave from Busan? |

I may be off a bit, but I'm pretty sure the ferry from Incheon is about 13 hours or so, Busan is about 12 hours, and Mokpo is 8 hours.
Flights to Jeju leave Gimpo like every 15 minutes or so on both Asiana and KAL. From other cities, just check the airlines' websites.
And if you have any other questions about Jeju, let me know.

Mokpo is 4 hours via highspeed car ferry. I did it at the beginning of August. My parents and I took it with economy class tickets and we had to sit on the floor so I suggest you buy a higher priced ticket. It was cheap though and nearly as good as the ferries that run from Vancity to Van Island. |

Not only are there fast ferries from Mokpo and Wando on the west coast
there is an overnight ferry from Busan (saves a hotel room, leave after dinner and get there by mid-morning)
AND (absent from nearly every travel source I've ever seen)
there IS a ferry from Tongyeong on the southeast coast, not far from Masan and Jinju and Geoje. |

Thanks for all your posts (well most of them anyway!).
I checked some more websites today and found several for some ferries which are cheap (start at 20,000) but can take up to 12 hours - as stated by another poster.
Shall keep an eye out. |

Last I heard Jeju Air should be starting operations this winter.
Great idea, and a bit long overdue. |
