Now that warmer weather is here, that also means those friggin' critters are, too.
So I've laid out bait stations and bought Raid spray and gel. I'm not into spreading boric acid since it's a bit unsightly.
Feel free to add. |

You must live in a shithole to worry about cockroaches. |

I've never seen a cockroach in my apartment in 4 years. I did see one at my wife's aunts house and they live in a shithole. I am on topic (insert immature insult here). |

Good for you that you haven't seen a roach, but roaches are also common in the West, too. And I did insert an insult, so thanks for the reminder. |

Who said anything about the west. If you want to go there I grow up in a $500,000 house that never seen a cockroach or any other insect. I have only seen houses in Korea with bugs. By the way aren't you like 55 years old. You seem pretty immature for someone your age. |

Please keep off this thread, it's obvious you are not contributing jack to it. Geez, if my water pipe busts, that must be because I live in a hut, according to your twisted logic. And I ain't 55, f--ktard, but hey, believe what you want. |

I've never seen one at my pad, but I've heard Korean roaches can be small and like to crawl up inside your ear and build nests...nice-uh! |

Yaya, don't let shaune get to you. If you haven't noticed ALL of his posts are mind-numblingly stupid. Allowing his posts to bother you is like losing sleep over your dog being unable to grasp calculus; dogs aren't meant to do calculus and shaune isn't meant to ever say anything remotely constructive or intelligent. You can't fight nature, man. |

I've been surprised thus far by the lack of insects in Korea...back home we have zillions of everything. I'd just like to add it's not because I lived in a slum, just part & parcel of living in the tropics.
Here there's been nothing until the last fortnight when there are flies everywhere! You mean I have roaches to look forward to too?!
What about ants? Ants are part of parcel of life in north Aus, I have yet to see any here. |

A guy I know who works for an American multinational has an apartment in the allegedly poshest area of Seoul. It has so many cockroaches that it'd boggle your mind.
The apartment is part of a large villa that's owned by one of the more well-known Koreans in Seoul: the President of the Korean branches of a North American department store company. |

Not totally true, but I know what you mean. My first place in korea, old building etc was plagued by roaches and mosquitos. Since moving into a nice villa have had trouble with neither. It's great in summer to be able to chill out in your place and sleep at night without the anticipation of those little bstards buzzing in your ear and chowing down. Its all to do with how well the windows doors etc are sealed I reckon. |
