| I'm going to be moving to Korea within the next week or so. Just wondering if Euro 2008 will have any TV coverage? |

Probably, you'll have to get a satellite dish and subscribe to the service to watch most soccer. I had a Brit fellow teacher who was nuts about soccer. (This was about 2 years ago.) He paid about W200k for the dish and hookup, and somewhere around W30k/month for the service. It had lots more channels than normal cable, but most of the channels were in Korean.
The downside was because of the time zone difference, he usually watched the games about 3am or thereabouts, but he didn't care because he got his soccer fix. |

They'll cover all the 'big' name games, and during the group stages, I think that Fifa will stagger all three games per day so that there won't be any overlap.
Otherwise go to www.myp2p.eu and watch whichever one they're not showing (for free). |

If they do show it, it would be cool if they repeated the matches at a more normal time...
I was thinking about getting a dish, as I'm going to be living in a small town, but i herd you have to get a 3 year contract?
The time difference wouldn't bother me too much either, as long as i get my fix! |

Cool, at least some coverage then.
I have a mac so none of the streams work on my computer
Theres two matches on per day for the group stage, then down to one match from the knockout stage onwards i think... |

Having just checked the fixtures list, all the games will be shown here at either 1.00am (5.00pm kickoff BST) or 3.45am (7.45pm BST).
Korean telly is usually pretty good about showing all the matches, although they do have this rather irritating habit of joining a match 5-10 minutes after kickoff so they can squeeze in all the ads beforehand.
I'm going to be a tired man in June. |

I'm just glad I have late starts, so won't lose too much sleep watching the matches!
It starts on June 7th with Switzerland vs Czech Republic and Portugal vs Turkey. Should be an interesting tournament, I've got a feeling Germany are gonna win this one, the. I'm hoping Italy can do the double, but with their group it'll be hard enough to get out of the group! |
