|
|
| I will be looking for a job starting from Late August/early September which has the lowest number of hours possible but will still give me a visa. What is the minimum working hours you have seen and where should I look for these types of jobs? I will be studying Korean privately so I want to work as little as possible. Money shouldn't be a problem as I do have other sources of income. |

The smallest I have seen is 2. The easiest to get would be an after school public job. They are usually 3 hours of teaching and 1 prep. I currently teach 4 with visa sponsorship.
If you are a student, would it not be possible to get a student visa and then just teach privately for up to 20 hours a week (i think that is allowed on a student visa)? |

Well, as of yet, I don't plan on intending a Korean university so I don't think a D series visa is possible. I also think you can only teach ona D-2 and not a D-4, which means you are not allowed to teach for the first semester (or first 6 months). Finding info about all of this is pretty difficult!
PS I assume you mean 4 hours a day? |

How does one find an after school job? I'm a PS teacher now but I might like to do an after school w/ another part time for next year. |

| Are after schools jobs who sponsor likely to give permission for someone to work elsewhere in the mornings? |

It is assumed when one takes an after school public gig that they will supplement with other work.
I know this doesn't answer your question but I think you get the hint |
