Walker Hill's poker room has been closed and the private organization that operated it has moved the tables and dealers, ect to a private "club" in Gangnam near Yoeksam Station. They have a tournament @ 3:00 on Saturdays. The people at Walker Hill gave me the guys cell number who runs the place...We went, it was reasonably well run but the rake is pretty ugly at the cash game. They were playing 1-2 No-limit or 2-5

I can't pm yet, so could one of you guys pm me or email me at - [email protected]

Llmoonmanhead, would love the details about the Hongdae game, where / what time / type of game etc....

I used to go to the Walker Hill and play no limit hold em there but their poker room has closed down now. The guys that ran it have a new Gangnam but the 1/2 table which is my preferred limit being a lowly esl teacher is never really open and the guys at the 2/5 are too sharky or so rich they can literally make you pay 50 dollars just to see a flop when they have T8 offsuit or something.... To be blunt, I just can't afford to play the table there when a million won is the buy in you need to start with which is my monthly poker bankroll...

We used to have a cool weekly 20,000 tourny 3 times a week in Ilsan but most of the guys have gone back home.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any decent games in the seoul area during the weekdays evenings or weekends...? I know of the one at hollywood bar in itaewon and have played there but it's died down now, I heard the haebongchon ones are a bit lame and dissorganised with lots of drunks or young recent college grads etc....

I heard there's a cool game in Hongdae/sinchon too but can't remember the details

Anyhow, pokerstars is getting boring, so if you know of a game email me the details and I'd appreciate it!

The closer to Ilsan / hongdae the better as gangnam / appgujeong is too far during the week
