I was in Seoul for the weekend and I hiked up Namsan to the N Seoul Tower. At the base of the tower there is a wire fence with thousands of locks on it, each with messages that people have written. What's the story behind those?
Thanks |

| People lock them onto fences and bridge bars and throw away the key to represent their love/relationship will never go away. |

| Is there still a "no bicycles" sign at the base of the road that heads up Namsan, the base near the Theater? I haven't been in a while. I always ignored that sign after it went up. The cops sitting there in their car never cared. |

| Yeah, a couple goes up there with two locks and locks them together to the fence. When they want to break up, they remove their lock (that's why there are so many sigle locks) |
