I see that there have been other posts on this topic before but none of them seem to answer the question I have.
I have just finished my contract on an E2 visa but my school refused to grant me a letter of release.
I'm trying to find a new job but I have been told that I must obtain a criminal records check from Canada.
With new policies in Canada the OPP and local police forces are no longer doing Criminal Background Checks...now only the RCMP is doing them and the turnaround is 4 months.
There is a form on the conuslate website http://www.koreanconsulate.on.ca/en/?b_id=86&c_id=427&mnu=a01b08&start=1
Has anyone used this to renew an E2 visa?
I have not left Korea at all since the E2 was issued in Feb/09 |
