GEPIK contract regarding Korean CRC if here over 1 yr

Original copy of a KOREAN criminal record certificate issued by a local Korean Police office for the year(s) you have lived in Korea."

Part of the GEPIK contract...is this mandatory..does anyone know..in addition to the CRC from home state w/apostille?
