OK. Asking for some insight here. I am seeing this girl (currently as a friend by maybe could be more) who goes to church quite regularly. So far, she has never invited me to join her church - I am agnostic.
Would like to know from all you guys with a bit of experience as to how liberal (you know what I mean) Korean women are who are regular church goers. I know it depends on the individual so I am just trying to get a feeling of what people have experienced her.
Not just after a 'wham bam thank you mam' but being a typical guy would like to experience all that a relationship offers.
Cheers |

Depends on the person, female and korean or otherwise.
I know alot of people, here and back home who say they are christian, but the last time they went to church was for a wedding or a funeral..pretty liberal really.
Same applies here, those who "regularly" go to church are generally more religious (read: less liberal) than those who don't. Perhaps the biggest question is what denomination is she, if she's Catholic...well (insert crude metaphor here regarding self pleasure). Otherwise it really depends on the person... |

A Korean girfriend in Nashville, USA used to spend the nights at my place every other weekend when her ex-husband had the kids, and leave my apartment on Sunday morning to go to a Christian Korean church in Antioch...if that tells you anything.
In actual Korea, I never dated any religious chicks, but the Church of God (aka. adjumma church) chicks were really nice. I went to one of their services and had a blast with so many prettly ladies and no dudes. I probably should've kept going. It was straight-up Milf City and they were so cheerful and kind. I only personally know one Christian in Korea and it was a late 30s coworker. Supposedly, she hates foreigners and men. In Gangdong, it seemed like the places where I was banned had Christmas decorations. I think Christians in Korea don't mix well with other races, kind of like Christians in the southeastern USA where I'm from. |

My current girlfriend is a regular churchgoer- she feels guilty if she misses a service. Yet we, uh... "experience everything that a relationship offers" (nice one, OP).
She insists that all her friends are "pure", but then her friends think the same of her. It was the same with another girl I dated too. With both of them the conversation went like this:
"All my friends are virgins, so I have to hide that I'm not"
"What if they're not virgins and they're hiding it for the same reason as you?"
"Oh no, they really are"
"How do you know? Again, they say the same about you, right?"
I'm sure there are plenty of women waiting for marriage, but Korea is not nearly as conservative as Koreans would have you believe... not even close. |

If a girl, of any nationality, asks me my religion after a few dates, I'm outta there. In fact, unless it somehow creeps up in casaul conversation, I HATE being asked my religion by someone who hardly knows me. |

Yeah but don't most of the EFL teachers worship the Almighty Dollar/Won? Don't Koreans know that by now? |

agreed.
I'm a noob in Korea but my ex is Korean (met her in Oz) and she was a Christian. Church every sunday without fail. In the beginning she was all sweeteness and innocence. However, she liked to get DOWN. I also went on a couple of dates with Korean girls whilst in Oz, and knew a few other guys who had similar experiences. As long as you're discreet I think they are up for it. Religeous or not, it depends on the girl. |

I think this is true of any nation/culture that claims itself to be conservative - the born again Christians, the Middle East, the messed-up-istans, the Koreans, the Vatican, the buddhists...we all have an underbelly !

I have, and she was amazing.
Did she live overseas? That will seal the deal. I met up with a K-girl in Canada (I'm not Canadian though), she professed great feeling towards Christ but was knocking on my door at 2am. |
