Can anyone clue me in on the vacation time for GEPIK teachers? As in, the school schedule . . . when the breaks are, etc.?
I just found out that I have a ten day break in August- in between summer and fall semesters. What about winter break? Lunar new year? Public holidays?
Is there someplace I could find a calendar like this? I've tried asking my co-teacher about this, but its no help. She basically told me "its too far in the future, so no one knows."

The only place you will get something like that which is correct for you will be from your own school - because there are many differences between the schools - Everything is not set across the Province - Even the start and end dates for terms can vary across schools - Added to that you have the fact that within vacation times different schools have different amounts of summer/winter camps - The National Holidays are about the only thing that is guaranteed to be relatively consistent across the schools - but I know that different schools have added extra days to some. You will probably find that your schools does have a calender which will have major dates / things marked on it - albeit in Hangul rather than English - I know I have heard of some people getting one from their schools - though I never saw one - Eventually I got good at noticing that something was written on the weekly/monthly calender and ask what it was - That helped a little to find out mor than the same day ahead of things happening -
What you may be finding in your response from your KT is that everything is not set yet - I know that my school did not have the summer camp dates / details firmly set until closer to the date - But some things will be known yet - At least to people like your VP - I think it is worth perservering with asking what you can find out about know |

The exact camp dates and your official vacation dates may not be known, but I guarantee that your school has an official calendar with all holidays, test days, vacation periods, sports days, field trip days, etc. |

| If a principal hires you with an agency submitting your info. and it is a school contract which is under GEPIK, who does the Immi paperwork, and can GEPIK say no if the school principal hired a teacher? |
