I thought 3.3% was the actual tax rate when I signed up to teach last year. Completely caught off guard when I got my tax papers from my hakwon last month. I have no idea how much I'll be paying. I made about 26mil won.

How much are you paying?

Friends have given me a couple of referrals to CPAs here who presumably can cut your tax payment in half (through purchased receipts and stuff??).

What has your experience been like?

Thanks for any insights, referrals, etc..

It's not 3.3%. Go to the national income tax website (google it) and fill in the blanks. Dead easy.
